Alfa Romeo’s Giulia GTAm Dominates The Streets With Both Power And Speed

The long-awaited Giulia GTA and GTAm are finally delivered and a few lucky owners can be seen with them on the road. The legendary GTA combines its Italian elegance with the sportiness of a racecar to create a one-of-a-kind Alfa Romeo supercar. The Giulia GTA is capable of going from 0-60 in just 3.6 seconds, powered by an upgraded 2.9-liter engine under the hood. While reservations opened in 2021, all units of the 2022 Giulia GTA have been reserved and sold. Now, buyers hoping to acquire one can only hope that an owner will be willing to sell their Giulia GTAm.
Alfa Romeo released both the Giulia GTA and GTAm, equipped with an enhanced version of the aluminum 2.9-liter V6 Bi-Turbo engine pumping 540 horsepower. The engine is also featured in the 2021 Giulia Quadrifoglio which has a starting MSRP of $75,250 (Plus destination fee) making it more affordable than the GTA supercar. The 2022 Giulia GTA will have a starting MSRP of $268,000 (Plus destination fee) and on-road cost. Alfa Romeo has pumped in every last bit of performance into the 2022 GTA, taking notes from its own Formula One Team lead by Cristiano Fiorio. Recently extending its partnership with Sauber Motorsport, a Swiss-based company that deployed the know-how acquired in 50 years of motorsport activity with 27 seasons of Formula One under its belt.
The GTAm comes with only two front seats made of carbon-shelled racing units manufactured by Alfa Romeo. In addition, the supercar comes with a roll bar, Sabelt six-point harnesses, a more aggressive front splitter, and a carbon-fiber rear wing. The back of the cabin has been stripped of its back seats and now holds cutouts for a fire extinguisher and racing helmets for the track. Alfa has also simplified the door panels by adding pull straps instead of the conventional door handles. The vehicle is packed with badging inside and outside of the vehicle, including the iconic clover on the right side and a tow hitch located in the front bumper.
