Alfa Romeo Welcomes New CEO Andreas Seidl
Andreas Seidl has been appointed the new CEO of Alfa Romeo by the Sauber Group. Seidl will begin his new role as CEO in January 2023 and will be responsible for continuing the growth of Alfa Romeo. Even as Alfa Romeo continues to expand with the help of Seidl, Sauber will continue to establish itself as one of the most promising sports and industrial companies in the market. Alfa Romeo will be guided by Stellantis as the automaker merges into electrifying its lineup.
Andreas Seidl was born in Passau, Germany, and finished his university studies at the Technical University of Munich succeeding in obtaining a diploma in mechanical engineering. Andreas began his career in the world of motorsport with the project of Formula 1 with another well-known car manufacturer and eventually working as head of operations of Sauber for a few years. Seidl had a predecessor as CEO and his name was Frederic Vasseur. Frederic He was born on the island of France on May 28, 1968, and became an excellent French motorsport engineer and manager succeeding. Eventually leaving a trail of great track records in single-seater championship team management which leaves high expectations for the new CEO Seidl. In the new role as CEO Seidl will be able to work together with Alfa Romeo and Sauber Group on the appointment of the new core team that will eventually be communicated.
