Alfa Romeo Release The Third Episode of The “Beyond The Visible” Series

Alfa Romeo has had great success with the first two episodes “Before Touching Ground” and “Trust is Earned” of the new Alfa Romeo series “Beyond the Visible”. The automaker released the third episode called “The Hidden Backbone”. Alfa Romeo’s new documentary series “Beyond the Visible” gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN. And the third of five digital episodes are now available, where viewers can witness the adrenaline-filled daily routine and excitement of the entire team participating in the most-watched motorsport competition in the world.
The audience will be able to be part of the complex and crazy organization of all the logistical operations that take place for the Formula 1 season through the third chapter of the miniseries titled “The Hidden Backbone”. The great mechanics for the organization of the logistical operations shown in this third chapter are complex numbers, units of measurement, and metrics that achieve an effective transfer of people and materials from one part of the world to another. The great sporting feats that the Alfa Romeo Fi Team ORLEN team performs host hospitality, the paddock and garage each built from scratch at each race and upon completion are dismantled. Behind the assembly and dismantling of the physical structure where the event will take place are great leaders who sacrifice themselves by fulfilling long exhausting shifts and achieving great intercontinental transfers with great skill and precision.
In the new episode “The Hidden Backbone, viewers will get an in-depth look at the fundamental behind-the-scenes activities that bring the excitement of Formula 1 to the stage. One of the activities involves investing 15% of a budget of 140 million euros in logistics operations, material handling, and transportation. 230 tons of materials are moved by sea, while 40 tons are moved by air and the surplus is moved by a truck on land. Each Grand Prix involves approximately 100 Alfa Romeo team members, including drivers, mechanics, athletic trainers, doctors, professional catering staff, and marketing and communications workers. All operations for each F1 season are strategically planned well in advance and in this case, this season was planned for December 2021.
