The Alfa Romeo brand releases the new Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio Super Sport from Alfa Romeo is a limited-edition special series that honors the automaker’s 1928 Mille Miglia victory. Global production and sales will only contain 275 Giulia Quadrifoglio Super Sport and 175 Stelvio Quadrifoglio Super Sport units. The sportiness, technical purity, and technology that have made Stelvio Quadrifoglio and Giulia Quadrifoglio into modern icons in their respective segments will be present in all 450 variants. The handling and power-to-weight ratio that provide the authentic Alfa Romeo driving experience will be advantageous to all Super Sport variants.
In order to highlight the unbreakable link with the racing world and to make this special limited series absolutely unique, Alfa Romeo Centro Stile has reinvented the Quadrifoglio logo, a symbol that has historically recognized Alfa Romeo’s greatest performance automobiles. The renowned coat of arms gains even more boldness and firmness when the triangle that has traditionally framed the green four-leaf clover is rendered black instead of white for the first time in more than a century.
The goal of achieving technological perfection in both racing and production automobiles has led to the creation of the Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio Super Sport during the past century. Generating 520 horsepower, the 2.9-liter V6 engine pairs with a mechanical limited-slip differential that has been tuned specifically for the Giulia GTA. This significant technical advancement enhances torque transfer and boosts stability, agility, and cornering speed, all of which help the automobile behave and have better traction.
The exterior modifications for the Super Sport versions also include a new black-backed Quadrifoglio emblem and extensive use of carbon fiber, which can be seen on the roof (optional on the Giulia only), in the ‘V’ on the renowned scudetto, and on the rear view door mirrors. The classic Alfa Romeo Teledial sports alloy wheels—19 inches for the Giulia and 21 inches for the Stelvio, along with new black brake calipers are a feature shared by both vehicles. Giulia is also available in Alfa White paint, while Stelvio is available in tri-coat Etna Red or metallic Vulcano Black paint. The front end is completed with the new “3+3” headlights, which include adaptive Full-LED matrix lights with anti-glare and a variable driving beam for the best lighting possible under all circumstances. With the help of this revolutionary technology, energy savings, significant safety improvements, and less eye strain are guaranteed.
The interior boasts the same aggressive elements, with a red carbon fiber 3D finish making its debut on the door panels, center tunnel, and dashboard. The Alfa Romeo and Super Sport insignia are embroidered in red on the front headrests, and a black label indicating the limited-edition status (such as “1 of 275”) further identifies them as belonging to the special limited series. The steering wheel has carbon fiber inlays and black stitching, and it is covered in leather and Alcantara.
Offering best-in-class driving dynamics, the Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio Super Sport both benefit from it. Given the use of incredibly light materials like carbon fiber for the side skirts, bonnet, spoiler, and engine, and aluminum for the engine, this is the outcome of a desire for lightness. The Giulia’s carbon-fiber front splitter keeps the aerodynamics in action. When engaged, it regulates the airflow beneath the car to improve performance and stability. The distinctive sound of the Akrapovič exhaust system is installed on both cars.
Everything about the Alfa Romeo driving experience, from premium looks to onboard connectivity and technology, is intended to deliver the signature Alfa Romeo feeling. The 12.3-inch TFT completely digital screen and the historical cannocchiale-style instrument binnacle provide access to all of the vehicle’s data as well as the settings for the autonomous driving technology. Along with the three layouts—Evolved, Relaxed, and Heritage—that are offered across the Alfa Romeo lineup, the Quadrifoglio also comes with the special Race configuration.
The Race layout places the speedometer, tachometer, shift light, and other vital driving information on the central screen, making it easy for drivers to see it all. You can alter the arrangement by adding more details, such as performance photos, to the sidebars. The Human-Machine Interface (HMI) of the Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio Super Sport is designed to be user-friendly and intuitive, allowing the driver to easily access all of the car’s capabilities. In addition, the infotainment system offers functionality, content, and the Alfa Connect Services platform, which offers a plethora of useful services for comfort and safety.
