Alfa Romeo Formula One Team Scored a Crucial Point on Home Soil

The Alfa Romeo Formula One team scored a crucial point at the 2023 Italian Grand Prix by finishing inside the top 10 with an Alfa Romeo F1 Team C43 driven by driver Valtteri Bottas. The Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake C43 was car number 77 and featured a Ferrari chassis with an updated aerodynamic package, 18-inch low-profile tires, and a new Ferrari V6 Turbo Hybrid engine. The new engine features enabled the car to push through and have an amazing race. Multiple Grand Prix champion Valtteri Bottas believes that a major key was the support he received from the team and the stands, and he believes that during the race he improved his qualifying due to his strategy. Valtteri was able to move up from fourteenth place at the start of the race to tenth, a place he earned because he made no mistakes from the lights to the flag.
Zhou Guanyu had a difficult race as he tried an aggressive two-stop strategy, resulting in a fourteenth-place finish in the race. Zhou expressed his excitement for his teammate, Vatteri, and was able to explain that his strategy impacted him. Zhou started on medium tires and was focused on his performance but unfortunately ran into some traffic on the track. Despite Zhou’s result, Alfa Romeo F1 Team achieved its main objective of climbing up the order and finishing in the top ten, and this result will drive them to keep working for the best results.
We won’t give up, not until after the last corner of the final race, in our quest to score points; we have to work harder as our target is still P7 in the championship. Finally, it’s great to be able to celebrate with a top-ten finish of what has been an incredible weekend on and off the track. We started on Thursday with the launch of the new Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale in front of our garage. We had our colleagues in the grandstand, organizing great choreography. And we had a good race. Hopefully, this can be the beginning of a new phase of our championship,” said Alessandro Alunni Bravi, team representative.
Alessandro Aluni Bravi, an Alfa Romeo team representative, also expressed that this achievement is a tribute to the whole team working hard and managing to turn things around when needed. Bravi also acknowledged the support of his colleagues at Hinwil when needed and mentioned that they will celebrate the points gained in this race but will analyze what went wrong to improve their position starting in Singapore, where they want to show a good race pace and improve qualifying positions. Alfa Romeo’s managed to catch the attention of several car lovers. Their trajectory continues, and they have shown more than once that their brand is improving.
