Alfa Romeo C42: A Closer Look
Alfa Romeo’s latest addition to the Alfa Romeo F1 ORLEN team is the C42 race car. The C42 rolls onto the track and is presented in a striking red and white livery in all its splendor. This magnificent model completes the grid for one of the best seasons of Formula One. The C42 is a model that was presented to fans around the world and all media simultaneously through images and videos for the new Formula One racing season.
Alfa Romeo’s Return to the Track
The Alfa Romeo Team ORLEN C42 vehicle is the first car to be built in Hinwil under budget cap regulations. This wonderful new car was designed by a great team led by technical director, Jan Monchaux. The C42 takes a leap forward with top-of-the-line performance parts, updated aerodynamic package, and 18-inch tires. Under the hood of the C42, fans will find a new and improved Ferrari engine. This vehicle has new regulations that allow for a closer race and great battles for the front and rear of the grill.
The livery is a very large but subtle reference, reminiscent of the most endearing designs of years past and all the heritage left by Alfa Romeo over the years, and all this is presented thanks to participation of the Hinwil team in Formula One. The C42 presents a very powerful and recognizable character thanks to the decoration created by the Alfa Romeo Stile center. The vehicle has a perfect mix of dominant colors between red and white, emphasizing the Alfa Romeo name on the back of the spoiler.
The Power of the C42
On the C42’s engine probe a red color can be seen with a diagonal cross-sectional area that extends a dynamic look to the vehicle’s bodywork. The Alfa Romeo logo can be seen in the transverse zone as a reference to the models of the 20th century, a time when racing cars made their debut in the 1920s. The impressive C42 model will be driven by 10-time race winner Valtteri Bottas and Zhou, the first F1 winner in China who is the only rookie on the grid this year, with these great drivers the C42 is ready to show what it is capable of.
